What does the Villány Wine Region mean to us? The unforgettable talks under the starriest sky, breathtaking sunrises, walks to Szársomlyó moving body and soul, the incomparable magic of the lavanders, and, naturally, works in the vineyards and the cellar.

Due to its unique features this wine region is the best blue grape growing area of Hungary, and we are convinced that the best cabernet franc wines of the world can be tasted here.

Producing grapes and wines is traditional in our family, which goes back to several generations. It is pure joy, which we would like to share with others. This is how Lavici Borhazak was born.

The wines of the currently 1,5-acre vineyard have been available to the public since 2012, mostly in restaurants, events, independent wine shops and now directly via our webpage.

The daily business of the winery is managed by the youngest family member, László Németh.

Alike in my original professions, architecture and property development, the challenges of a creative work lured me to this area. The secrets of grapes, the complexity of the wine and the natural environment all attracted me. Learning the stages of the process, understanding the special features of the different grapes and the vintage, using the experience still cause constant and joyous challenges for me. During creating Lavici wines we use gentle methods to produce clear wines to make every drop a sip of joy, a sip of real Villány taste!
